My Cabbage Patch Doll

Meet my adorable baby, Renee.  These images were taken when she was 15 days old and 7 months old.  

As a photographer, I always feel guilty for not taking enough pictures of my kids professionally.  My kids are precious, but like most moms, I have tons of pictures of them on my cell phone.  The images are poor quality but at least I have something.  Have you noticed that it is 10 times harder to take pictures of your own kids?  I probably have just one image of the whole family together that's somewhat decent.  

Renee is 21 months old with her hair almost down to her waist.  I always thought she would make a great hair model, but then, I am not sure if I want to nurture her to become one.  She loves to sing and dance.  I realized she started dancing before she could walk and sing before she could talk.  All babies are born with creative and musical souls. As parents, all we can do is allow our children to follow the natural courses of their lives.  

Right now I am enjoying the sweet cuddles from her. Until the day she decides to close herself in her room, I just soak up all the sweetness and continue to sniff her hair.
