Feathers of Your Wings

Life can sometimes be unkind.  People can be cruel.  Most often, when you combine these two elements together, it means you are going through hell on earth.  At the same time, when you are trying to break free from the chains that hold you back, the battle seems endless and ever more challenging.  

Through it all, I was very fortunate to also be surrounded by kind people.  I was inspired to take a crack at poetry and I do not know the rules of what makes a good poem. Maybe someday, I can turn this into a song.
